Finally it‘s here, our "Franconian Denim". Bleed founder Michael pursued the vision of a jeans "Made in Upper Franconia" for four years. The denim fabric made of organic cotton is manufactured directly in Helmbrechts at the weaving mill „Wirth“, where the fabric for the inner pockets is also made. In the Emsland, the pieces of fabric are carefully sewn together by hand to form the "Franconian Denim". The slimmer fit and the classic dark blue colour make these jeans a timeless, comfortable and regional favourite!

Despite our environmentally conscious choice of materials and partners, unavoidable greenhouse gases are emitted in the production chain. To keep CO2 emissions as low as possible, bleed uses only organic cotton for the Franconian Denim and the transport routes in between the manufacturing steps are as short as possible. Nevertheless greenhouse gases are emitted - but are compensated by bleed together with our expert in compensation: Climate Partner. Fitting the „made in Gemany” jeans, we have choosen a project in Germany. „With the mountain forest project, native forests and landscapes in various regions of Germany are maintained. Thus it helps to adapt to the negative impacts of climate change. The forests are cultivated, to keep their natural function - as a water filter, erosion protection and important habitat of animals and plants (reference Climate Partner)“.
